I'm not that familiar with Lupus, but I want you to know I'm thinking of you and hoping that you turn the corner soon and don't need the BIG GUNS that wipe you out so much..

I can't wait for you guys to get started....you and the New York Team of editors were neck and neck most of last year, along with my *cough* wonderful Internet Team..did you know that site wide, we all read an incredible 24,440 books in total?!

Rest assured that we're aware of all of the outstanding issues and are working as best we can to get the fixes up and running, including the font color, and most importantly the default view of the boards and being taken to the first page of posting. It's our number one concern, but it's NOT an instant fix. IF I was convinced that you would accept the posts appearing in reverse chronological order I would implement, perhaps we could try it and see? The problem is that we have to ensure that the site displays properly for a variety of Operating Systems and Browser options. What works for one cause failures in another, so we're slowly working our way through to ensure stability for all.
In the meantime, I've been navigating to the last page of a thread with multiple pages and hitting the END button to take me to the last post, which helps. Also try using the Recent posts button on the side nav to show you the all NEW messages and the number of posts in the threads. IF you favourite any of the threads and book review blogs, you'll find any new messaging there on your profile pages. There's more than one way to scoot around the boards.

Congratulations Jennie, that's wonderful news! Do you get to attend a swanky ceremony to accept the award?

Laura,
I've opened a room for your group, you'll see it on the Chat room list and it's open as of now. I've made it a private room, so as to be discreet and prevent folks from accidentally wandering in. You'll see it listed as In memory of the Croc Hunter. I've added a note regarding the con-flap-gration in the header of the Bat Cave thread, I'll try to pop in and pay my respects.

Don't get discouraged!!!
We only started counting books from the day we launched the site, and not from the 1st of January. I'm sure that as we roll on, adding new folks to the challenge, we'll pick up the pace. Since we only launched on the 5th at around 4pm, I think we're in pretty good shape averaging just over 110/day since we kicked off.

Hi there,
If you want this book to count towards the 100,000 Book Challenge, you'll have to repost this as a Book Review. Let me know if you're still having trouble.

I'm going to log the issue Ellen, but I've been noticing that occasionally users have been inputting funky code into their signatures that have been negating our standard display. I'll get back to you shortly, and in the meantime, can you check and double check that you closed your end tags in your sig on your profile page?

Thanks so much Bron, and I'm hoping that you find lots of other things about the site fun too!
