- Glad to see folks are still01/16/2008 - 17:06Glad to see folks are still finding this little thread of mine. I've been getting such a laugh out of all the comments! I hear you on the what works in books not working in reality thing. granted, I'm very particular about alpha males in books too but I do like them sometimes. What's key is how well the author portrays them. Sometimes they come across as a total ass, other times they come across as a wonderful guy who will do anything to protect his woman. In real life though I'd never get along with an alpha male in a relatinship. I'm too fiercely independent for that.
- 01/15/2008 - 22:48glad to be of assistance Nicole. I never heard of the MyPal befor eyou mentioned buying it. I'm not in the market for a new PDA since mine's only a year or so old, but I am curious about the one you got so I'll have to look at it.

I'm with you, give me slow and easy for seduction instead of ripping and tearing. Well i suppose that is all well and good in some circumstances, but I prefer lots of foreplay leading up to doin' the deed.
And YES! Save my money and let me buy more books!
wow Deb where have you been hiding that you just found this one? LOL Kidding!
- 01/15/2008 - 20:21I have a Dell Axim Pocket PC which does have a very small screen. But that's OK usulaly since I can change font size as needed. What I haven biggest problems with is glare. Even with the backlight on the lowest setting it can be without going dark, it gets to me after a while. But I manage pretty well in spite of that.
- 01/15/2008 - 20:18Ahhh, Silver. A girl after my own heart. It's nice to see a heroine who doesn't enjoy having her clothes ripped off. LOL
- 01/14/2008 - 21:08my picture is from an arts and crafts festival last fall. they had one of those associations there that rehabilitate birds of prey. you could get your photo taken with the eagle and the money went towards the program. so of course I had to do it. and yes, she is a real bird! LOL her beak was literally three inches from my nose. kinda scary to think about being THAT close to an eagle's wicked sharp beak. if you look REALLY close though at my profile page where the photo is biger, I think you can see the fist of the handler. that's what she was sitting on.
- 01/14/2008 - 20:10and when we do I usually snag them. LOL or try to anyhow. got the new susan grant last week, first in her new HQN series. But that was a private request from somewhere she'd seen me post I wanted to read it.

well one thing with many eformats on PDAs is that you can change the fint size, whch helps with eye strain. Also, if you use mobipocket, you can change the font and background colors which helps hugely as well.
I had a Franklin eBookman for my first reader and I liked it. But then I graduated to a pocket PC which I love. I don't do half of what I can on it, but I like the option to use all that stuff if I desire.
- 01/13/2008 - 23:43hey it works so that's all that matters, right? And I'm using it too. :-)
