the Black Dagger Brotherhood & the SLATB (thanks Sadhbh!)

On the forum ~ Reading Challenge:  What's on Your List? ~  started by Ellen Hartman, J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood books were mentioned.

Posting pics

I am going to attempt to explain posting pics/book covers.  If you know much about computers, simply do a drag and drop from the cover you want to the comment box.

In more detail, this is how I do it: (I'm sure there is a shorter version of how to this, but at least it works for now)

Reading Challenge: What's on Your List?

My friend, Diana Holquist, posted a reading challenge on her blog (http://blog.myspace.com/dianaholquist). I decided to take her up on it. The idea is that you post 12 books you're planning to read in 2008. She posted all romance, I'm not doing that because my romance choices tend to be based on my mood--I can't plan ahead!

Book Review Ratings

These are the Quiet Canadian's new Book Review Ratings. The changes are minor, but hopefully a little clearer for both the reviewer and the reader of the reviews.

To keep or not to keep that is the question

I know that this is a repeated post from last year, but as we have so many new participants I felt compelled to ask again.  Are you a keeper?  Are you a re-reader?

What makes a book a keeper for you?  What makes you need to re-read it year after year?  Does a keeper that you've had for years ever fail to retain it's keeper status, and if so what becomes of it?

The story of your picture

I've noticed as I've visited other people's blogs that there are a variety of different pictures to identify each other.  Some people have avatars, some people have pictures of themselves, some people have pictures of their kids, and some people have other things to represent themselves.

This got me to wondering why other people chose the pictures that they did.

Welcome!
