Comments:
I didn't think I would like a book based on a television show, but since I like Monk (the show) so much and I've found I like cozy mysteries so much, I gave this a shot. It was really enjoyable, and it gave me a new-found understanding of Natalie, since she narrates it...something you don't really see as much of in the show.

re: Mr. Monk goes to the firehouse
Oh neat, I didn't know they were publishing Monk books! I don't watch the show as regularly as I used to, but this sounds like it might be a fun read.
Monk series
This is the first of 5, I think. There's also Mr. Monk Goes to Hawaii, Mr. Monk and the Blue Flu, Mr. Monk and the Two Assistants, and Mr. Monk in Outer Space. There is supposed to be a 6th coming out this year. Mr. Monk Goes to Germany.
