Kill and Tell by Linda Howard

Targeted for murder after she takes custody of a mysterious notebook, Karen Whitlaw is protected by detective Marc Chastain, with whom she begins a passionate relationship while they seek to uncover the mystery behind the notebook's past.

Linda Howard is just great, isn't she???  She tends to create these complex characters and make them real!!!  This was a good one and something that certainly suites my mood tonight!  Not that I, uh, wanted to kill anyone, that is! YIKES!

Hey Julz...

Oh I did like this one!  Karen was a great heroine and Marc ~ ooh la la... that's one hot fella!

And John Medina ~ he doesn't play a huge part in this book, but the next one, All the Queen's Men, is his story and wow!  Definitely another winner.  I love the relationship between him and Niema... what's really funny is that my oldest daughter, who's read most of my books and never *liked* the romances actually labelled both Kill and Tell and All the Queen's Men really good books.
  *be still my heart!*

Kill and Tell

I have this book and this is one of my favorites.  I have read this book numerous times. This was one of my first books by her and she did not disappoint.  I loved Marc in this book Laughing

I loved these books too . . .

John Medina didn't have a big roll in this one but LH made you just want to know more about him. I'm glad she wrote his story in All The Queen's Men. Her hero's are so Yummy! Margie :)

Hi Julz

LH is an autobuy for me and I did enjoy this one.

My favorite

Out of all of Linda Howard's books this is my favorite. I bought an extra copy (hardcover).  Embarassed

It is the setting too. Hmm, must go and read the book again Smile

I liked this one, but

I liked this one, but didn't get into All the Queen's Men as much.  I hate to say it, but John just didn't do it for me.  Ducking out of the room.
