HIDDEN IN THE WALL by Valerie Hansen

book coverbook coverAnother Love Inspired Suspense read for me!  I can't believe I'm not reading more paranormal but I am enjoying this line!

SYNOPSIS: Trevor Whittaker and Stephanie Kessler were friends in college, despite their different backgrounds.  Steff is from the upper society and is a rich girl who doesn't have to work for a living~ and yet insists on doing so.  Trevor isn't wealthy and is perceived as the bad boy.  But now these two friends have been reunited after many years.  Trevor is working on a bookcase for Steff's office when something is found~ something that attracts the attention of someone who wants it to stay hidden.  Who is behind all of these strange incidents?  And will Steff and Trevor defy the odds and fall in love despite their very different backgrounds?

MY THOUGHTS: First off, this is part of a series so be forewarned that there are threads left hanging on purpose.  Steff is likeable although I admit I have a tough time relating to wealthy characters.  It's just not a theme I tend to gravitate towards in books... but Valerie Hansen makes it work regardless. Colleges are a good backdrop for a mysterious story, as I could envision some spooky scenarios, particularly with that basement!  Overall, this was a pretty good read although the hanging threads make it hard to evaluate without the whole context of the series.  I will read the next book, however!

Sounds really good

And its a book that I could pass of to other readers in my family. I may have to investigate it.

Unrelated, but have you read Dead Sexy by Kimberly Raye yet?  I can't remember if I told you that it was a super good Blaze that you might enjoy.

It is one...

you could pass off to family members for sure.

I don't remember if you mentioned the Raye book but I do have it.  I'll have to dig it out of the stacks and bump it up in order some!

Awesome

I may visit the Bookstore and see if they have it. I've been good this month. I've only purchased 10 and I've read 27 so I can afford to buy one more book right???
