Nick Rogers is the new deputy who's actually hiding out in Montana while
waiting to testify against ex-best friend, crooked cop Zak. Laney is
home for holidays trying to protect her family, especially when
someone drops dead from poisoning at a party catered by her sister.
Men are getting beaten with a baseball bat, there's a kleptomaniac
canine who helps solve that one. One of the women puts his photo on
her Internet dating site, which means Zak knows where to find him and
finally kidnaps Laney to put pressure on Nick. This was funny in
spots, a nice suspense, slightly confusing in parts but overall
enjoyable. Made me glad not to be part of Arlene's family
