There are a few very special moments in the "life" of a book.
Seeing the cover for the first time is definitely one of those moments. (Along with things like, actually SELLING it/contract, finishing the draft, holding a copy the first time, and seeing it on the shelves.)
Tess Spencer wants nothing to do with the military. The death of her twin, David, has given her a fear of anything to do with it. When she buys some furniture for one of her family's restaurants, however, she finds a laptop computer in it that will change her life. Captain Cole Harrington, recently returned from Iraq to try to salvage his failing business, owns the laptop that was deliberatly hidden in the furniture lot. He has a lot more on his mind than romance, and suspects that Tess may be involved in the people who are trying to ruin him in business.....

I loved the pacing of this book. It just started and flew. Great hero - excellent premise.
