This is JG’s newest book, it is a return to her historical roots.  I had read a couple of reviews of this book prior to opening it and was a bit hesitant to read it.  I should not have worried, no this is not JG’s best historical novel – for that I would recommend The Secret or Ransom, but it is a pretty-good nov

This is the second story in the relationship of Ethan and Kate.  In this story, their relationship has evolved to the place where a ring might be forthcoming, but a variety of issues come into play (a thieving cat, a back-stabbing cousin and a returning ex) that might keep the two from ever traveling down the aisle.  <

A Discworld saga wherein Death--you know him, rather thin fellow, handy in the scythe department--takes an apprentice, an ordinary boy appropriately named Mort.  Watch as he mucks out Binky's (that would be Death's dread steed) stable, gets to know Death's daughter, and tears the very fabric of reality.
