Kitty Goes to Washington by Carrie Vaughn

This series is turning out to be so much better than I'd hoped--what a great book!

My Favorite Earthling by Susan Grant (HQN Paranormal Romance, 2007)

challenge_name:

Second in a series, the first of which features Jared’s sister, Jana (Your Planet or Mine?), and the third of which features their sister, Evie (How to Lose an Extraterrestrial in 10 Days). I did not enjoy this book as much as I did Your Planet or Mine?, but it was still a good read.

My rating: 3.5/5

From the back cover:
“Even a goddess can have a bad day…

Heart of the Dragon by Gena Showalter (HQN Romance, 2005)

Also in this series: The Stone Prince, The Pleasure Slave, and Jewel of Atlantis.

My rating: 3/5

From the back cover:
“Searching for her missing brother, Grace Carlyle never dreamed she would discover a secret world populated by mythological monsters—or find herself facing a sword-wielding being whose looks put mortal men to shame.

Demon Wind by Kay Wilde

Mort by Terry Pratchett

challenge_name:

A Discworld saga wherein Death--you know him, rather thin fellow, handy in the scythe department--takes an apprentice, an ordinary boy appropriately named Mort.  Watch as he mucks out Binky's (that would be Death's dread steed) stable, gets to know Death's daughter, and tears the very fabric of reality.

General Winston’s Daughter by Sharon Shinn
